Poppers : sexe and fun
Poppers are vasodilators (used to dilate blood vessels), originally used in medicine for the treatment of certain heart diseases. They are usually in the form of a mixture of highly volatile liquids in a highly flammable 8-30 ml flask. They contain alkyl nitrites, including butyl and pentyl nitrites. The main side effects observed were euphoria and a sense of relaxation, which were diverted for use in sexual intercourse.Given their vasodilatory qualities, poppers have a reputation for helping to relax, causing strong brief hot flashes and exacerbating sexual desire and sensuality.
